Moving costs!

So I have been checking out the price to move my shizzle over the pond. Not cheap! For a one bedroom, we might be lucky to get away with only $3800. That is bank on my budget. Don't quite know what I am going to do to get the jink together. And what is with London? Do people not own any of their own shtuff if they rent? Every where I look, it is always furnished apartments. And if they are not furnished, then they are just as expensive as the furnished ones.

Job Hunting

Job hunting in the UK appears to be very different from my experiences hunting for work in the U.S. First, they aren't resume's, they are C.V.s which stands for curriculum vitae. OK, I can deal with that, but they appear to be formatted completely differently than a resume. Also, apparently no one advertises for themselves, as every site I come across is populated with staffing specialists, rather than companies. I hope that I can get a fair return on my Master's degree and get a position that pays what I feel I am worth. Otherwise it is going to be very difficult for me as I will have to work two jobs in order to afford for princess to go to school.
